Tee Box

On my way to the prairie at the Botanic Gardens this morning, I told myself that I wouldn’t waste time on a shot that wouldn’t end up very good. (Yesterdat I spent 30 minutes of perfect light shooting a fishing blue heron from 100 yards away. I should have known that none of those shots would be very good.) But as I walked along the fence, next to the golf course, I couldn’t stop myself from getting one shot through the fence of the light filtering down the fairway through the trees.

There was a time when I would wake up early, not to take photos, but to golf. This photo makes me miss those early mornings. I will be getting back to some golf soon. And I’ll bring my camera. 🙂
